Newsletters

Viewing Your News Letter

1. Your Newsletters will all be featured on the main screen.

2. On this first page you may create a new Newsletter or edit an existing one.

Creating a New Newsletter

1. Click the New Newsletter

2. You will be brought to a new screen.

Current Campaigns Assets:

1.These are all the assets that have been created.
2. Click the articles you wish to include in your Newsletter.

Exports Details

Name: Name of the article
Widget: Widget to be used
Description: Newsletter Description
Export Type: Select
2. Click Save Icon() in the upper right of Exports Details

3. Once your Newsletter is created there are three buttons below used to view your newsletter

Creating Tags For Assets

Creating Tags For Assets

1. Once logged into TPNI’s Platform, goto the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the site and select the client record you want to create tags for.
2. Next, on the dropdown menu directly below the client, select the campaign you want to edit.
3. On the left hand side, select “Settings”
4. Next, select “Tags”
5. Once the page loads, there is a line that reads, “Current Tags” click the Plus Icon () to add an Tag

Tags

1. In the Tag Details dialog box, first enter the name of the Tag you would like to create. This could be something like a Curation, Creation, Syndication, Distribution, Analytics, etc. depending on your campaigns topic.
2. The next box is titled “Display Order”, this indicates how the order you would like the tags to appear. Inserting the number 1 would make this tag appear first in the list, 2 the second and so on.
3. Once you have finalized the details of your new Tag, click the Save Icon ()

6. Next, on the left hand toolbar select, “Assets”
7. On the upper right, under the dropdown for campaigns there is another dropdown that reads “Type To Add”. Click on the dropdown and select “Asset” then click the button to the right of the dropdown that reads “Add New Asset”

Add New Asset

1. The page will refresh and ask you for information about the asset you are adding. At the very bottom of the screen, there is box with the tags you have created with a checkbox next to them.
2. Once you finish entering all of your asset information, and selecting the appropriate tag navigate back to the top of the page and on the top right save your asset record by clicking on the save icon ()

URL Shortener

Current Links

1. Under current links is where all short link codes will be stored
2. To add a new short link click the plus icon () in the upper right of current links.
3. A menu Link Details will pop up to the right.
4. Place your link in the comment box titled Long URL/Link
5. Click the save icon () to generate your new link.
6. A new link will appear to the left under Link

Live Producer Page

Live Producer Page

1. Once logged into TPNI’s Platform, go to the drop down menu in the top right corner of the site and select the client record you would like to work in.
2. Next, on the drop down menu directly below the client, select the campaign you want to edit.
3. On the left hand side, select the last menu choice “Live Producer”
4. The next page loads with a drop down menu titled, “Webcast Menu”, select the appropriate webcast you would like to edit the live producer page.

Configure Webinar

Slide Group Once you select the appropriate webcast, the page will ask which slide deck you would like to use. Select the appropriate pre-loaded slide deck from the drop down menu.
Live Embed The next section titled, “Live Embed” is the section where you paste the iframe of the video that is being embedded on the live player page.
Twitter Embed The section titled, “Twitter Embed” is where you insert the appropriate information pulled from the twitter API feed. If your webcast is using a specific hashtag on twitter, this is where the collected tweets will appear.

5. Once you have finalized the details of your Live Producer Page, click the Save Icon ()

Creating Asset Types

1. Once logged into TPNI’s Platform, goto the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the site and select the client record you have just created.
2. Next, on the dropdown menu directly below the client, select the campaign you want to edit.
3. On the left hand side, select “Settings”
4. Next, select “Asset Types”
5. Once the page loads, there is a line that reads, “Current Asset Types” click the Plus Icon () to add an Asset Type

Asset Type

1. Enter the type of Asset you would like in the first box that reads, “Asset Type”. This could be something like a Video, Image, Article, Social Feed, etc.
2. In the next box, titled “Asset Name”, enter the name of the Asset. This could be the same as the Asset Type, or if you want it to be more specific you can give it a unique name
3. The next two boxes deal with Widget types. For more information on creating a Widget, please visit the help page titled “Creating A Widget”
4. In “Outpost Default Widget” select the appropriate widget. This is how the asset will appear when on your outpost page.
5. In “Generic Default Widget” select the appropriate widget. This is how the asset will appear on the generic version of your page.
6. Once you have finalized the details of your new Asset Type, click the Save Icon ()

6. Next, on the left hand toolbar select, “Assets”
7. On the upper right, under the dropdown for campaigns there is another dropdown that reads “Type To Add”. Click on the dropdown and select “Asset” then click the button to the right of the dropdown that reads “Add New Asset”

1. The page will refresh and ask you for information about the asset you are adding. Midway down the screen, above the “Publish Date” there is a dropdown that reads “Asset Type” Click the dropdown menu and the new Asset type you just created will be an available option.
2. Once you finish entering all of your asset information, on the top right save your asset record by clicking on the save icon ()

1. Once logged into TPNI’s Platform, goto the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the site and select the client record you would like to work in.
2. Next, on the dropdown menu directly below the client, select the campaign you want to edit.
3. On the left hand side, select “Settings”
4. Next, select “Social Feeds”
5. Once the page loads, there is a line that reads, “Current Social Feeds” click the Plus Icon () to add a Social Feed

Social Feeds

1. Enter the name of the Social Feed you would like in the first box that reads, “Feed Name”. This could be something like “#ABC Twitter Feed”
2. In the next box, titled “Feed Type”, select from the dropdown menu which type you would like.
3. In the last box, you will insert the link to the feed you would like. Once you have finalized the details of your new Social Feed, click the Save Icon ()

Creating An Asset Category

1. Once logged into TPNI’s Platform, goto the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the site and select the client record you would like to work in.
2. Next, on the dropdown menu directly below the client, select the campaign you want to edit.
3. On the left hand side, select “Settings”
4. Next, select “Categories”
5. Once the page loads, there is a line that reads, “Category Types” click the Plus Icon () to add a Category Type

Category Type

1. Enter the name of the Category you would like in the first box that reads, “Category Name”. This could be something like a Content, Enterprise, Inbound, Mobile, etc.
2. In the next box, titled “Category Tag”, enter the tag you would like associated with your Category Asset. The tag’s are used as metadata for each asset and helps you categorize and link similar assets
3. Once you have finalized the details of your new Category Type, click the Save Icon ()

6. Next, on the left hand toolbar select, “Assets”
7. On the upper right, under the dropdown for campaigns there is another dropdown that reads “Type To Add”. Click on the dropdown and select “Asset” then click the button to the right of the dropdown that reads “Add New Asset”

1. The page will refresh and ask you for information about the asset you are adding. At the bottom of the page there is a box with checkboxes and your newly created Cagtegory will be selectable.
2. Once you finish entering all of your asset information, on the top right save your asset record by clicking on the save icon ()

Call to Actions

Adding and Updating Call to Actions

1. Add a new Call to Action by clicking the add icon ()
2. A menu will appear to the right “Call to Action Details”

Call to Action Name: Enter the name of your call to action here.
Action Link: Enter the link that your Call to Action will be connected to.
Logged-In Action Link:
Action Link (Text for Link): The text entered here will appear on your Call to Action.
Logged-In Action Link (Text for Link):
Open in New Window (not Pop-Up): Select yes/no from the drop down if you want the link to open a new window when clicked.
HTML Block 1…3: Enter in HTML to style your Call To Action
Logged in HTML Block 1…3:Enter in HTML to style your Logged-in Call To Action
Attende Menu ID:
Attendee Menu Stage(Blank for Default):
Insert Registration in Call to Action Block:

3. Click the Save icon () to save your changes

Search Assets

To Search for an Asset:

1. You can enter any information in the first field (Asset ID, Asset Title, Publish Date, etc) searching across all entered information.
2. You can enter information if you know specifically the Asset ID number, Asset Title, Publish Date, etc. By putting this information in their corresponding fields, it will make your search results more specific, but it may also make finding the Asset harder if you have any of the fields wrong.
3. After entering the information, you can click Search or Clear

Search Results:

1. Once you search, you will be shown the Assets that meet the search criteria
2. You can sort by Title and Date.

Individual Assets

1. Each Asset has its own box with its information

Title: Title of the Asset
Date:  The publish date of the Asset

2. You can do the following to each Attendee Record

View: Views the asset in the appropriate outpost.
Edit: Edit the current Asset
Delete: Delete the selected Asset

Editing an Asset

1. Find the Asset you wish to edit and click EDIT
2. You will be brought to a new page Asset Details

Asset Name: Name of the Asset
Detailed  Description: Detailed description of the Asset
Brief Description: Teaser description of the asset (about 150 characters)
Asset Image: Thumbnail image of the uploaded image
Upload Image: Use this field to upload an image for your asset.

1. click the select button to choose a file from your computer
2. Select the image you wish to use.
3. Click open
4. Click the Upload Now button.
5. your image will populate on the left.

Link: Place the link that you wish to have the uploaded image lead to.
Alternate Link:
Asset Type: Choose an what type of Asset this is.
Publish Date: Select the publish date of this Asset
Active Date: Select the Active date of this Asset
Expiration Date: Select the expiration date of this Asset
Login Required: Select yes/no from the drop down if a login is required for this Asset
Searchable: Select yes/no from the drop down if this Asset will be searchable
strong>Call To Action: Select from the drop down a Call to Action.
Display Call To Action at Video End: Select yes/no if you want to display the select “Call to Action”
Tags: Select the associated tags for this Asset
Categories:Select the associated Categories for this Asset

5. Click the Save Icon () to save your changes

General

Installing the Curation Tool

1. Click and drag the “Add to Outpost” button to your bookmarks.
2. Open the outpost from your bookmarks
3. An outpost editor will appear.

Title: This is the tittle of your new article
Categories: Select from the list of categories that your article will cover
Tags: Select from the list of created tags.
Comment: Enter in a brief description of the article

Campaign Details

1. Edit the boxes allow to match your curated article.

Campaign Name: The name of your Campaign
Campaign Description: The description of your campaign.
Base URL: The ULR of the main page of your outpost
Player URL: URL of your player page
Display as Pop-Up: Select yes or no if you want the Player to be a Pop-Up
Bookmarklet Thumb URL: A preview of the thumbnail image.
Upload Image: Upload a new image by clicking the select button; choose your file and click the upload button.

2. Click the save icon () in the upper right of the Campaign Details box
